Rainbow River Lodge is located on the banks of the Okavango River in the Kavango-Zambezi Region, north-eastern Namibia. We offer comfortable accommodation at affordable prices whether you prefer camping on the banks of the river or the comfort of a chalet. Our guests can be assured of always receiving warm, friendly and true Namibian hospitality during their stay.
We have a fully equipped restaurant and licensed bar with wi-fi. Enjoy scrumptious meals or simply just have a sundowner on the deck of the restaurant overlooking the magnificent Okavango. A welcoming pool awaits our guests, which is always a winner especially when you visit during our hot Namibian summers.
During the day you can take a self-drive trip to the Mahango or Buffalo Parks or join our activities.
We have 22 en-suite chalets, double, single, and family units. All chalets are equipped with mosquito nets, free wi-fi, hot water, and fans.
We offer 7 Superior chalets. Each chalet is fitted with 2 single beds, covered with mosquito nets, hot water showers, fans, and electricity. These chalets overlook the Okavango River.
The 11 riverside camping spots are covered with luscious green lawns and huge trees. Each campsite has its own braai area, fitted with electrical outlets. There are 4 ablution blocks with hot water and electricity. Put up camp next to your vehicle and breathe the fresh Okavango air whilst the gracious and gentle sound of the mighty river soothes your ears.
Rainbow River Lodge is very close to the Popa Falls, the surrounding areas offer views of wild animals and 339 bird species. Take a cruise on our 14-meter Aluminium boat and enjoy the beauty of the Okavango
