Overview & Important Info

Accommodation is offered in the Erongo Farmhouse and on four individual campsites. The campsites are about 2.5 km away from the Farmhouse. The house can accommodate seven guests comfortably and apart from a cozy living room and a beautiful outside area it also offers a fully equipped kitchen. The Farmhouse is rented out to one party only, granting exclusive use and privacy to guests. Guests that don’t have the opportunity to shop for groceries before arriving can make use of the “fill the fridge” offer (prior arrangement essential), i.e. on arrival there will be enough groceries for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the stay. Minimum stay at the Farmhouse is two nights on weekends. The four campsites consist of the 'Camp Mountain View' (Big Campsite), 'Camp Petite' (Small Campsite), 'Camp 4' (Wild Campsite) and 'Camp Granite' (Wild Campsite) and they cater for different group sizes. All campsites have showers & toilets, a BBQ area and lapa fireplace, gas cookers as well as tables and chairs. Minimum stay at Erongo Rocks! is two nights on weekends. The surrounding landscape of the Erongo Mountains is not only spectacular, but it also invites guests to get active. Well-marked hiking, cycling and jeep tracks have been developed and guided hikes and rock art tours can be booked in advance. Another highlight is a visit to the San Living Museum only 8 km away. Being part of the 'Erongo Mountain Conservancy', a lot of farm fences have been taken down allowing wildlife to roam more freely. Apart from various antelopes like kudus, oryx and klipspringers one can find mountain zebras, giraffes, baboons and with a lot of luck leopards. Bird lovers can enjoy the richness of different species with numerous endemic birds.
