MTC Dome Namibia is the largest and most versatile indoor event location in the country. The surrounding area of the MTC Dome makes provisions for almost all types of events; from sport tournaments, concerts, expos to weddings, birthday parties, year end functions and other festivities.
MTC Dome is rated as a High-Performance Centre to serve the sport, leisure and business community in offering board and lodging, sport specific training, sport science services, strength and conditioning to professional athletes and teams as well as aspiring future stars.
We recently hosted the WorldSkills Africa Swakopmund 2022 event – a beacon of world-class standard with all-inclusive conference and exhibition halls, a hotel, an indoor sports centre, a sports bar and entertainment area, restaurant, gym, spa and a rooftop deck.
Visitors to MTC Dome have increased due to additional services such as a Day Care Centre, a Business Box for Entrepreneurs, an Online School Facility, the Dome Academy program for Gap Year students, and CRC Church.
Our 5-storey facility hosts a Kinder Zone play area, Taste Coffee restaurant, a Crazy-4-Crafts Shop and a ballet school on the ground floor. The first floor is home to Pitstop sports club, CNNC Rossing Uranium Mining offices, Platinum Accounting, Dome Occupational Therapy, Johanniter Hilfswerk, CRC Church and Nautilus Namibia. The second floor houses the world-class MTC Dome High-Performance Training Centre with a heated swimming pool, Assessment Centre, Flippers Swimming School, Swakop Spinning Studio, Agility Swakopmund and Serenity Spa. The gorgeous, modern MTC Dome Hotel boasts 34 suites that can accommodate up to 64 guests on level 3. An open Rooftop Deck complement both business or leisure event with a 360 view of Swakopmund, The magnificent Conference Centre (level 4 and 5) and 7 breakaway rooms offers both local and international clients a top-notch holistic conferencing experience.
